About me
I’m an amateur wildlife photographer exploring nature, reserves, and zoos across the Czech Republic, Europe, and sometimes even the US. I’ve had a camera for over 15 years, but got into animal photography in 2021, when “I See Wild” was born. My goal is to share images worth framing.
I shoot with Sony Alpha gear, mainly the A1 and A6700. In the wild, I use the 200–600mm with a 1.4x teleconverter for extra reach. In zoos, depending on the scene, I often use the 70–200mm f/2.8, the 50mm f/1.2, or a 90mm macro.
Currently, my A1 is sold, and I am waiting for the new upgrade to the Sony A1 Mark II. I am also considering a new lens for wildlife, specifically the Sigma 300-600 f/4, which would be my first non-Sony piece.
Photography is my way to unwind and connect with fellow enthusiasts. Right now, I’m planning my first authentic safari—a dream finally in the works.
Feel free to say hi or join me on a photo adventure!
Wildlife photographer in the zoo?
Heading into the wild takes time and planning, and it’s not always easy with kids. That’s why I love visiting zoos in the Czech Republic and abroad. Sometimes, I go solo for a quick photo session; other times, I go with my family, where I shoot while they enjoy the day.
I’m just an amateur wildlife photographer with a passion, so if you like my photos and want to try zoo photography, let me know! I’d be happy to meet and share a few tips on shooting through glass, fences, or mesh. All you need is enthusiasm, and ideally, a lens with a focal length of around 200mm. Not sure about your gear? Just message me, and we’ll figure it out.
And if you spot me out there, come say hi!
